Herbex Stephania
Stephania Tetrandra is a herb belonging to the Menispermaceae. Its root, collected by the Chinese Pharmacopoeia as a herbal medicine, contains active component Tetrandrine and is effective for inhibiting inflammation.

Tetrandrine can inhibit the synthesis of PGE2 and LTs in monocytes.
Tetrandrine can significantly inhibit macrophages’ release of TNF and IL-1 after stimulation by LBS.
